ततः सुग्रीव भवनम् प्रविश्य हरिपुंगवाः ।
क्रोधम् आगमनम् चैव लक्ष्मणस्य न्यवेदयन् ॥४-३१-२१॥
tataḥ sugrīva bhavanam praviśya haripuṃgavāḥ । krodham āgamanam caiva lakṣmaṇasya nyavedayan ॥ ॥4-31-21॥
Translation
Then, the monkey chiefs entered Sugriva's palace and reported Lakshmana's arrival as well as his anger.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उन वानर श्रेष्ठों (सेनापतियों) ने सुग्रीव के महल में प्रवेश करके, लक्ष्मण के आने और उनके क्रोध के बारे में निवेदन (सूचित) किया।
English Commentary
The alarm is raised. The Haripungavah (leaders among monkeys) breach the inner sanctum to deliver the intelligence. The report contains two critical pieces of data: Lakshmana's arrival (agamanam) and his emotional state (krodham). This creates dramatic tension. The outer buffer is gone. The problem is no longer theoretical or distant; it is physically present at the palace gates. This sets the stage for Sugriva's rude awakening from his drunken stupor.

भागने वाले वानरों में से कुछ जिम्मेदार अधिकारी ('हरिपुंगवाः') सीधे महल में भागे ताकि राजा को चेतावनी दे सकें। अब खबर महल के भीतर पहुँचती है। संदेश स्पष्ट है: लक्ष्मण आ गए हैं और वे बहुत क्रोधित हैं ('क्रोधम् आगमनम्')। यह स्थिति की गंभीरता को बढ़ाता है क्योंकि अब सुग्रीव को सीधे इस संकट का सामना करना होगा। बाहरी सुरक्षा पंक्ति टूट चुकी है, और खतरा अब राजमहल के दरवाजे पर है।
