निर्मल ग्रह नक्षत्रा द्यौः प्रनष्ट बलाहका ।
प्रसन्नाः च दिशः सर्वाः सरितः च सरांसि च ॥४-३२-१४॥
Nirmala graha nakṣatrā dyauḥ pranaṣṭa balāhakā । Prasannāḥ ca diśaḥ sarvāḥ saritaḥ ca sarāṃsi ca ॥ ॥4-32-14॥
Translation
The sky has clear planets and stars, and the clouds have vanished. All directions, rivers, and lakes have become clear and distinct.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आकाश में ग्रह और नक्षत्र निर्मल (स्पष्ट) दिखाई दे रहे हैं, बादल नष्ट हो चुके हैं। सभी दिशाएँ, नदियाँ और तालाब प्रसन्न (स्वच्छ) हो गए हैं।
English Commentary
This verse continues the environmental description to reinforce the call to action. The clearing of the sky (nirmala) and the disappearance of clouds (pranashta balahaka) signal the end of the rainy season, which was the agreed-upon waiting period. The clarity of the rivers and directions implies that the logistical hurdles for an army have been removed. Rivers that were swollen and impassable during the monsoon are now calm; the muddy trails have dried. Hanuman is essentially presenting a situational report: the terrain is ready for the search mission. The beauty of the description contrasts sharply with the ugly reality of Sugriva’s negligence. It emphasizes that while the world has moved forward into a season of clarity and activity, Sugriva remains stuck in the stagnation of the past season.

यह श्लोक शरद ऋतु का अत्यंत सुंदर और नैसर्गिक वर्णन है। वर्षा ऋतु के काले बादल और मटमैला पानी अब बीत चुका है। 'प्रसन्नाः' शब्द का अर्थ यहाँ 'स्वच्छता' और 'शांति' दोनों है। नदियाँ और तालाब अब बाढ़ से मुक्त हैं, जिसका अर्थ है कि रास्ते अब चलने योग्य हैं। इस काव्यात्मक वर्णन का कूटनीतिक अर्थ यह है: "रास्ते खुल गए हैं, सेना का कूच करना अब संभव है।" जब प्रकृति स्वयं बाधाओं को हटाकर मार्ग प्रशस्त कर रही है, तब वानर राज का महल में बैठे रहना अक्षम्य है। यह वर्णन सुग्रीव को यह अहसास दिलाने के लिए है कि बाहरी दुनिया सीता की खोज के लिए तैयार हो चुकी है, केवल वही हैं जो तैयार नहीं हैं।
