नियुक्तैः मंत्रिभिः वाच्यो अवश्यम् पार्थिवो हितम् ।
इत एव भयम् त्यक्त्वा ब्रवीमि अवधृतम् वचः ॥४-३२-१८॥
Niyuktaiḥ mantribhiḥ vācyo avaśyam pārthivo hitam । Ita eva bhayam tyaktvā bravīmi avadhṛtam vacaḥ ॥ ॥4-32-18॥
Translation
Appointed ministers must necessarily speak what is beneficial to the King. Therefore, casting aside fear, I speak these firm words.

नियुक्त किए गए मंत्रियों द्वारा राजा को हितकारी बात अवश्य कही जानी चाहिए। इसीलिए, भय को त्यागकर मैं यह निश्चित (ठोस) बात कह रहा हूँ।
English Commentary
Hanuman concludes his speech by justifying his bluntness through the lens of political ethics (Rajaniti). He defines the role of a Mantri (minister/counselor): it is mandatory (avashyam) to speak what is beneficial (hitam) to the ruler, even if it is unpleasant. By saying he speaks "casting aside fear," Hanuman highlights that true loyalty requires courage—the courage to correct a superior. He distinguishes himself from sycophants who might feed Sugriva's delusions. He frames his advice as avadhritam (firm/determined), signalling that this is not a suggestion but a necessity. This statement serves to validate his entire argument and assures Sugriva that the harsh advice comes from a place of absolute loyalty and concern for the King's welfare.

अपने उपदेश के अंत में, हनुमान 'राजनीति' और 'मंत्री-धर्म' का सिद्धांत स्थापित करते हैं। वे स्पष्ट करते हैं कि उन्होंने जो कठोर सत्य कहे (कि आप दोषी हैं, लापरवाह हैं), वे राजा के अपमान के लिए नहीं, बल्कि उनके 'हित' के लिए थे। एक सच्चा मंत्री वह नहीं जो राजा की चापलूसी करे, बल्कि वह है जो राजा को गलत रास्ते पर जाने से रोके, चाहे उसके लिए राजा का क्रोध ही क्यों न झेलना पड़े। 'भयम् त्यक्त्वा' (भय को त्यागकर) कहकर हनुमान यह भी संकेत दे रहे हैं कि अन्य मंत्री शायद सुग्रीव के डर से सच नहीं बोल रहे थे, लेकिन हनुमान ने सत्य बोलना चुना। यह श्लोक हनुमान की निष्ठा (Loyalty) और निर्भीकता (Fearlessness) का प्रमाण है। वे सुग्रीव को यह विश्वास दिला रहे हैं कि यह सलाह पूरी तरह से सुग्रीव के कल्याण के लिए है।
