किम् पश्यसि कुमारस्य रोष स्थानम् अनिन्दिते ।
न खलु अकारणे कोपम् आहरेत् नरपुंगवः ॥४-३३-३३॥
kim paśyasi kumārasya roṣa sthānam anindite |
na khalu akāraṇe kopam āharet narapuṃgavaḥ ॥4-33-33॥
Translation
O blameless one (Tara)! What do you perceive as the cause of the Prince's anger? For surely, that best among men would not harbor wrath without a valid reason.

हे अनिन्दिते (दोषरहित तारे)! राजकुमार लक्ष्मण के क्रोध का क्या कारण तुम देखती हो? क्योंकि वे नरश्रेष्ठ बिना कारण के कभी क्रोध नहीं करेंगे।
English Commentary
Here, Angada displays immense maturity. By addressing Tara as 'Anindite' (blameless one), he isolates her from the general guilt of the monkey court, positioning her as an objective mediator. His assertion that Lakshmana, the 'best among men,' would not be angry without cause highlights his respect for Lakshmana's character. Angada recognizes that Lakshmana is not temperamental but strictly righteous; therefore, his anger signifies a genuine breach of Dharma or protocol by the Vanaras. This sets the stage for a diplomatic intervention rather than a defensive conflict.

यहाँ अंगद अपनी बुद्धिमत्ता का परिचय दे रहे हैं। यद्यपि वे जानते हैं कि सुग्रीव ने प्रतिज्ञा में देरी की है, फिर भी वे तारा से परामर्श कर रहे हैं। 'अनिन्दिते' सम्बोधन का प्रयोग कर वे तारा को आश्वस्त करते हैं कि परिस्थिति चाहे जो हो, तारा निर्दोष और विवेकपूर्ण हैं। अंगद का यह कथन कि लक्ष्मण बिना कारण क्रोध नहीं कर सकते, लक्ष्मण के चरित्र के प्रति उनके गहरे सम्मान को दर्शाता है। वे जानते हैं कि लक्ष्मण 'नरपुंगव' हैं, अर्थात भावनाओं पर नियंत्रण रखने वाले श्रेष्ठ पुरुष हैं, अतः यदि वे क्रोधित हैं, तो अवश्य ही कोई गंभीर त्रुटि हुई है जिसे तत्काल सुधारने की आवश्यकता है।
