अथवा स्वयम् एव एनम् द्रष्टुम् अर्हसि भामिनी ।
वचनैः स्वांत्व युक्तैः च प्रसादयितुम् अर्हसि ॥४-३३-३५॥
athavā svayam eva enam draṣṭum arhasi bhāminī |
vacanaiḥ svāṃtva yuktaiḥ ca prasādayitum arhasi ॥4-33-35॥
Translation
Or rather, O noble lady, it is appropriate that you go to see him yourself; you ought to propitiate him with soothing and conciliatory words.

अथवा हे भामिनी! उचित यही होगा कि तुम स्वयं ही उनके दर्शन करने जाओ और सांत्वना भरे वचनों से उन्हें प्रसन्न करो।
English Commentary
Angada proposes a strategic masterstroke. Recognizing that male warriors might only provoke Lakshmana further, he suggests that Tara herself approach him. The use of 'Bhāminī' acknowledges her spirited yet graceful nature. Angada understands that gentle, conciliatory speech ('svāntva') is the only antidote to Lakshmana's righteous fury. This marks a shift from a military standoff to a diplomatic engagement, entrusting the safety of the kingdom to Tara's eloquence and presence rather than physical strength.

अंगद को भली-भांति ज्ञात है कि क्रुद्ध क्षत्रिय वीर के सामने किसी अन्य वानर का जाना सुरक्षित नहीं है, किन्तु एक कुलीन महिला का प्रभाव अलग होगा। 'भामिनी' शब्द यहाँ तारा के तेज और सौंदर्य को इंगित करता है। अंगद का सुझाव रणनीतिक है—मधुर और नीतिपूर्ण वचनों ('सांत्व युक्तैः') से ही लक्ष्मण का क्रोध शांत हो सकता है। यह श्लोक राजनीति के उस सिद्धांत को दर्शाता है जहाँ 'साम' (समझाना-बुझाना) नीति का प्रयोग सबसे पहले किया जाता है, और इसके लिए तारा सर्वाधिक उपयुक्त पात्र हैं।
