ताम् च प्रतीकमाणो अयम् विक्रांतान् सुमहा बलान् ।
राघवस्य अर्थ सिद्धि अर्थम् न निर्याति हरि ईश्वरः ॥ ॥४-३५-२०॥
Tāṃ ca pratīkṣamāṇo ayam vikrāntān sumahā balān |
Rāghavasya artha siddhi artham na niryāti hari īśvaraḥ ॥4-35-20॥
Translation
Waiting for those mighty and valiant Vanaras to arrive for the sake of accomplishing Raghava's mission, the Lord of Monkeys (Sugriva) has not yet set out.

श्रीराम के कार्य की सिद्धि के लिए, वानरराज सुग्रीव उन महाबली और पराक्रमी वानरों की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं, इसी कारण वे अभी बाहर नहीं निकल रहे हैं।
English Commentary
Tara employs tactical diplomacy here. She reframes Sugriva’s delay not as negligence, but as strategic preparation. She assures Lakshmana that Sugriva is waiting for the main reinforcements—the mighty Vanara warriors—because a casual force is insufficient to defeat Ravana. By stating that Sugriva is holding back specifically 'for the sake of Raghava’s mission,' she aligns Sugriva’s inactivity with Rama’s ultimate goal, attempting to diffuse Lakshmana’s anger by showing they are on the same side.
