ऋक्ष कोटि सहस्राणि गोलांगूल शतानि च ।
अद्य त्वाम् उपयास्यन्ति जहि कोपम् अरिन्दम कोट्यो अनेकाः तु काकुत्स्थ कपीनाम् दीप्त तेजसाम् ॥ ॥४-३५-२२॥
Ṛkṣa koṭi sahasrāṇi golāṅgūla śatāni ca |
Adya tvām upayāsyanti jahi kopam arindama Koṭyo anekāḥ tu Kākutstha kapīnām dīpta tejasām ॥4-35-22॥
Translation
Thousands of crores of bears, hundreds of Golangulas (cow-tailed monkeys), and many crores of radiant monkeys will approach you today. O Arindama (Subduer of enemies), O Kakutstha, please abandon your anger.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे अरिन्दम! करोड़ों रीछ और सैकड़ों गोलांगूल (गवैया वानर) तथा अनेक करोड़ तेजस्वी वानर आज आपके पास आ जाएँगे। हे काकुत्स्थ! अब आप अपना क्रोध त्याग दीजिये।
English Commentary
Tara lists the diverse composition of the army—bears, baboons (Golangulas), and monkeys—to impress upon Lakshmana the scale of the mobilization. By addressing him as Arindama (destroyer of foes), she subtly suggests that his formidable anger should be directed at their enemies (Ravana), not his allies. The plea 'abandon your anger' is the climax of her argument; having provided the logic and the logistics, she now appeals to his emotional restraint.

यहाँ तारा आने वाली सेना की विशालता का वर्णन करती हैं जिसमें न केवल साधारण वानर, बल्कि रीछ (जाम्बवान की सेना) और गोलांगूल भी शामिल हैं। वह लक्ष्मण को 'अरिन्दम' (शत्रुओं का दमन करने वाला) कहकर संबोधित करती हैं, यह याद दिलाने के लिए कि उनका क्रोध शत्रुओं के लिए होना चाहिए, मित्रों के लिए नहीं। संख्याओं का उल्लेख लक्ष्मण को यह भरोसा दिलाने के लिए है कि सुग्रीव का प्रयास श्रीराम के स्तर के अनुरूप ही विशाल है।
