English Commentary
The order is executed instantly. The palanquin is described as "priya darshanam" (beautiful/pleasant to look at), reflecting the opulence of the Vanara kingdom. Sugriva, referred to here as "Vanaradhipa" (Lord of Vanaras), inspects the vehicle. The scene sets the stage for the departure. The visual of the golden palanquin contrasts with the ascetic life of Rama, emphasizing the resources Sugriva is now bringing to the alliance.
