परिकीर्णो ययौ तत्र यत्र रामो व्यवस्थितः ।
स तम् देशम् अनुप्राप्य श्रेष्ठम् राम निषेवितम् ॥ ॥४-३८-१५॥
Parikīrṇo yayau tatra yatra rāmo vyavasthitaḥ । Sa tam deśam anuprāpya śreṣṭham rāma niṣevitam ॥ ॥4-38-15॥
Translation
Surrounded by his retinue, he proceeded to the place where Rama was staying. He arrived at that excellent spot inhabited by Rama.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अपनी सेना से घिरे हुए सुग्रीव वहां गए जहाँ राम विराजमान थे। वे उस श्रेष्ठ स्थान पर पहुंचे जो राम द्वारा सेवित (निवास किया हुआ) था।
English Commentary
This verse marks the transition from the city of Kishkindha to the ascetic dwelling of Rama. Sugriva travels surrounded ('Parikirna') by his army, highlighting his leadership. The destination is described as 'best' simply because it is inhabited by Rama ('Rama nishevitam'), implying that Rama's presence consecrates the environment. The narrative focuses on the physical convergence of the two key figures of the epic. It sets the stage for the crucial meeting where the resources of the Vanara kingdom will be formally placed at the disposal of the Raghu prince.

सुग्रीव अपनी विशाल सेना और राजसी ठाठ के साथ उस पवित्र स्थान पर पहुँचते हैं जहाँ राम निवास कर रहे थे। 'राम निषेवितम्' शब्द उस स्थान की पवित्रता और महत्ता को दर्शाता है; जहाँ महापुरुष निवास करते हैं, वह भूमि भी तीर्थ समान हो जाती है। सुग्रीव का अपनी सेना के साथ वहां जाना, राम के प्रति शक्ति प्रदर्शन नहीं, बल्कि शक्ति का समर्पण है। यह श्लोक दृश्य को महल के वैभव से हटाकर राम के तपस्वी निवास (गुहा/पर्वत) की ओर ले जाता है, जहाँ भौतिक ऐश्वर्य और आध्यात्मिक तेज का मिलन होने वाला है।
