ते त्वाम् अभिगमिष्यन्ति राक्षसम् योद्धुम् आहवे ।
निहत्य रावणम् युद्धे हि आनयिष्यन्ति मैथिलीम् ॥ ॥४-३८-३३॥
Te tvām abhigamiṣyanti rākṣasam yoddhum āhave |
Nihatya rāvaṇam yuddhe hi ānayiṣyanti maithilīm ॥4-38-33॥
Translation
They will come to you to fight the demon in battle. Indeed, having killed Ravana in war, they will bring back Maithili (Sita).

वे युद्ध में राक्षस (रावण) से लड़ने के लिए आपके पास आएँगे। वे युद्ध में रावण को मारकर निश्चित ही मैथिली (सीता) को वापस लाएंगे।
English Commentary
This is the mission statement. Sugriva synthesizes the mobilization into a clear objective: combat (Ahave). He explicitly promises two outcomes: the killing of Ravana (Nihatya Ravanam) and the retrieval of Sita (Anayishyanti Maithilim). Note the shift from "searching" for Sita to "bringing her back" after killing Ravana; Sugriva is confident in the overwhelming force he has summoned. This declaration is meant to put Rama's mind entirely at ease regarding the commitment of the Vanara empire.

यह सुग्रीव का अंतिम आश्वासन (Pledge) है। यहाँ उद्देश्य बिल्कुल स्पष्ट है: 'युद्ध' और 'सीता की वापसी'। सुग्रीव 'राक्षसम्' (रावण) और 'मैथिलीम्' (सीता) का नाम लेकर लक्ष्य को निर्धारित करते हैं। 'आनयिष्यन्ति' (ले आएंगे) क्रिया में दृढ़ता है। सुग्रीव अब केवल खोजने की बात नहीं कर रहे, बल्कि रावण को मारकर सीता को वापस लाने का संकल्प ले रहे हैं। यह श्लोक किष्किंधा कांड के इस सर्ग का निष्कर्ष है—गठबंधन अब पूर्णतः सक्रिय है।
