निमेष अंतर मात्रेण ततः तैः हरि यूथपैः ।
कोटी शत परीवारैः कामरूपिभिः आवृता ॥ ॥४-३९-११॥
Nimeṣa antara mātreṇa tataḥ taiḥ hari yūthapaiḥ |
Koṭī śata parīvāraiḥ kāmarūpibhiḥ āvṛtā ॥4-39-11॥
Translation
Within a mere blink of an eye, the land was covered by those monkey leaders, surrounded by hundreds of crores of troops, capable of changing form at will.
हिंदी अनुवाद
पलक झपकते ही (निमेष मात्र में), करोड़ों की सेनाओं (परिवार) से घिरे हुए उन इच्छाधारी (कामरूपी) वानर-यूथपतियों ने उस स्थान को घेर लिया।
English Commentary
This verse highlights the speed and discipline of the deployment. Nimesha antara matrena (in the space of a blink) suggests a supernatural swiftness. The structure of the army is evident: Leaders (Yuthapaih) arrive surrounded by their massive retinues (Parivaraih). The repetition of Kamarupibhih (shape-shifters) reminds us that this is a magical army. The rapid fill of the visual field creates a sense of sudden, overwhelming power surrounding Rama.

गतिवानरों का प्रमुख गुण है। सेना धीरे-धीरे नहीं आई, बल्कि 'निमेष अंतर मात्रेण' (पलक झपकते ही) प्रकट हो गई। यहाँ 'हरि यूथपैः' (वानर सेनापतियों) का उल्लेख है जो अकेले नहीं, बल्कि अपने 'कोटी शत परीवारैः' (अरबों सैनिकों के दल) के साथ आए हैं। 'कामरूपिभिः' (रूप बदलने वाले) विशेषण फिर से उनकी मायावी क्षमता को याद दिलाता है। इतनी विशाल सेना का इतना अनुशासित और तीव्र आगमन सुग्रीव के कुशल नेतृत्व का प्रमाण है।
