Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
कुर्वाणा बहु शब्दान् च प्रकृष्टा बलशालिनः ।
शिरोभिः वानरेन्द्राय सुग्रीवाय न्यवेदयन् ॥ ॥४-३९-४१॥
kurvāṇā bahu śabdān ca prakṛṣṭā balaśālinaḥ । śirobhiḥ vānarendrāya sugrīvāya nyavedayan ॥ ॥4-39-41॥
Translation
Making loud sounds, those excellent and mighty warriors bowed their heads and reported themselves to Sugriva, the Lord of Vanaras.
हिंदी अनुवाद
कोलाहल करते हुए वे श्रेष्ठ और बलशाली वानर, वानरराज सुग्रीव को सिर झुकाकर अपना निवेदन (उपस्थिति) प्रस्तुत करने लगे।
English Commentary
This verse illustrates the blend of wild enthusiasm and strict hierarchy. The warriors are noisy (Kurvana bahu shabdan), reflecting their primal nature and high morale, yet they bow their heads (Shirobhih) to report for duty. This act of submission to Sugriva (Vanarendraya) confirms his absolute command. It signifies that the mobilization phase is complete and the reporting phase has begun. The mighty chiefs are formally presenting their credentials and readiness to their King.

यहाँ सैन्य शिष्टाचार (Protocol) का वर्णन है। वानर अपनी प्राकृतिक आदत के अनुसार शोर (बहु शब्दान्) तो कर रहे हैं, किन्तु वे अपने राजा का सम्मान करना नहीं भूलते। 'शिरोभिः... न्यवेदयन्' का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने सिर झुकाकर अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई। यह सुग्रीव की सत्ता की स्वीकृति है। यह दृश्य दिखाता है कि यह केवल एक अनियंत्रित भीड़ नहीं है, बल्कि एक संगठित सेना है जो अपने सर्वोच्च कमांडर (सुग्रीव) के प्रति जवाबदेह है। वे युद्ध के लिए अपनी तत्परता की घोषणा कर रहे हैं।
