करिष्यति स साहाय्यम् युवयोः भास्करात्मजः ।
सुग्रीवः सह च अस्माभिः सीतायाः परिमार्गणे ॥ ॥४-४-२८॥
Kariṣyati sa sāhāyyam yuvayoḥ bhāskarātmajaḥ । Sugrīvaḥ saha ca asmābhiḥ sītāyāḥ parimārgaṇe ॥ ॥4-4-28॥
Translation
That son of the Sun, Sugriva, along with us, will certainly render assistance to you both in the search for Sita.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे सूर्यपुत्र सुग्रीव, हम सबके साथ मिलकर, सीता जी की खोज (परिमार्गण) में आप दोनों की सहायता अवश्य करेंगे।
English Commentary
Hanuman makes a pledge on Sugriva's behalf. He refers to Sugriva as 'Bhāskarātmaja' (son of the Sun). Just as Rama is of the Solar Dynasty, Sugriva is the son of the Sun God—establishing a parity in lineage. Hanuman clarifies that the help will come not just from the king, but 'saha ca asmābhiḥ' (along with us/the army). By using the term 'Parimārgaṇe' (searching all around), Hanuman shows he understands the mission profile: intelligence gathering is the first priority.

हनुमान जी यहाँ सुग्रीव की ओर से प्रतिज्ञा (Commitment) कर लेते हैं। वे सुग्रीव को 'भास्करात्मज' (सूर्य का पुत्र) कहते हैं। जैसे राम सूर्यवंश के हैं, वैसे ही सुग्रीव सूर्यपुत्र हैं—यह कुलीनता की समानता है। हनुमान स्पष्ट करते हैं कि सहायता केवल सुग्रीव नहीं, बल्कि 'सह च अस्माभिः' (हम सबके साथ/पूरी वानर सेना) करेगी। 'परिमार्गण' (चारों ओर खोजना) शब्द का प्रयोग बताता है कि हनुमान को कार्य की प्रकृति समझ आ गई है—उन्हें युद्ध से पहले खोज करनी है। यह श्लोक गठबंधन को पक्का करता है।
