भिक्षु रूपम् परित्यज्य वानरम् रूपम् आस्थितः ।
पृष्टम् आरोप्य तौ वीरौ जगाम कपिकुङ्जरः ॥ ॥४-४-३४॥
Bhikṣu rūpam parityajya vānaram rūpam āsthitaḥ |
Pṛṣṭham āropya tau vīrau jagāma kapikuñjaraḥ ॥4-4-34॥
Translation
Abandoning the guise of a mendicant and assuming his original monkey form, that elephant among monkeys (best of monkeys) placed those two heroes on his back and departed.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन कपिश्रेष्ठ (हनुमान) ने भिक्षु का रूप त्याग दिया और अपना वास्तविक वानर रूप धारण कर लिया। फिर उन दोनों वीरों को अपनी पीठ पर चढ़ाकर वे (सुग्रीव के पास) चले गए।
English Commentary
This verse paints one of the most iconic images of the Ramayana: Hanuman carrying Rama and Lakshmana on his shoulders. The act of shedding the Bhikshu (beggar) disguise signifies the removal of all pretense before the Divine. To serve God intimately, one must be in their true, authentic self. By carrying them on his back, Hanuman physically demonstrates his Dasya Bhakti (devotion of servitude). It is a moment of great humility and intimacy, showing that the path to the King (Sugriva) is literally supported by the strength and devotion of Hanuman.

यह रामायण का एक अत्यंत प्रसिद्ध और भावुक दृश्य है। हनुमान जी ने अब कपट-वेश त्याग दिया है। ईश्वर के सामने किसी भी प्रकार का आवरण या छद्म वेश नहीं होना चाहिए, इसलिए वे अपने 'वानर रूप' यानी निज स्वरूप में आ गए। राम और लक्ष्मण को कंधों पर बिठाना हनुमान जी की दास्य भक्ति की पराकाष्ठा है। यह दृश्य दर्शाता है कि भगवान भले ही त्रिभुवन के स्वामी हों, लेकिन वे अपने भक्त के कंधों पर सवारी करना पसंद करते हैं। यहाँ हनुमान जी की शारीरिक शक्ति और विनम्रता दोनों का अद्भुत संगम है।
