अधिगम्य तु वैदेहीम् निलयम् रावणस्य च ।
प्राप्त कालम् विधास्यामि तस्मिन् काले सह त्वया ॥ ॥४-४०-१२॥
adhigamya tu vaidehīm nilayam rāvaṇasya ca |
prāpta kālam vidhāsyāmi tasmin kāle saha tvaya ॥4-40-12॥
Translation
Having found Vaidehi and the abode of Ravana, I will then execute the timely action along with you at that moment.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वैदेही और रावण के निवास स्थान का पता लग जाने पर, मैं उस समय आपके साथ मिलकर जो उचित कार्य होगा, वह करूँगा।
English Commentary
Rama outlines his strategy: intelligence first, action second. The phrase saha tvaya (along with you) is crucial. Rama makes it clear that even after finding Sita, the subsequent plan of action or war will be executed in partnership with Sugriva. It reinforces the alliance. Rama shows he is not one to act blindly out of rage; he believes in taking action that is prāpta kālam (appropriate to the time and circumstances) and strictly in coordination with his ally.

राम यहाँ रणनीति स्पष्ट कर रहे हैं: पहले आसूचना (intelligence), फिर कार्यवाही। 'सह त्वया' (आपके साथ) शब्द अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। राम यह स्पष्ट कर रहे हैं कि सीता का पता चलने के बाद भी, रावण का वध या युद्ध की योजना सुग्रीव के सहयोग के बिना संभव नहीं होगी। यह साझेदारी (partnership) की भावना को सुदृढ़ करता है। राम आवेश में आकर बिना योजना के आक्रमण करने वालों में से नहीं हैं; वे 'प्राप्त कालम्' (समय के अनुकूल) कार्यवाही में विश्वास रखते हैं।
