त्वम् एव आज्ञापय विभो मम कार्य विनिश्चयम् ।
त्वम् हि जानासि यत् कार्यम् मम वीर न संशयः ॥ ॥४-४०-१४॥
tvam eva ājñāpaya vibho mama kārya viniścayam |
tvam hi jānāsi yat kāryam mama vīra na saṃśayaḥ ॥4-40-14॥
Translation
You alone give the command, O Capable one, for the determination of my task. For you know indeed what my task is, O Hero, without doubt.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे विभो (समर्थ)! मेरे कार्य की निश्चित सफलता के लिए आप ही आज्ञा दें। हे वीर! निस्संदेह आप जानते हैं कि मेरा कार्य क्या है।
English Commentary
Rama again urges Sugriva to issue the commands. The address Vibho (All-capable one) underlines Sugriva's competence. Rama implies that while the objective is his, the success relies entirely on Sugriva's orders. This trust forces Sugriva to rise to the occasion. Furthermore, it respects the military hierarchy—it is appropriate for the King (Sugriva) to command his own troops directly rather than an outsider (Rama) doing so, ensuring better discipline and morale within the ranks.

राम पुनः सुग्रीव को आदेश देने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं। 'विभो' संबोधन सुग्रीव की व्यापक क्षमता को दर्शाता है। राम कह रहे हैं कि हालाँकि उद्देश्य मेरा है, लेकिन उसकी सफलता आपकी आज्ञा पर निर्भर करती है। राम का यह भरोसा सुग्रीव को अपने कर्तव्य के प्रति और अधिक सचेत करता है। यहाँ यह भी भाव है कि एक राजा (सुग्रीव) को अपनी सेना को स्वयं आदेश देना चाहिए, बाहरी व्यक्ति (राम) द्वारा आदेश देने से सेना का मनोबल प्रभावित हो सकता है।
