पृथिवि अंबु चरा राम नाना नग निवासिनः ।
कोटि ओघाः च इमे प्राप्ता वानराः तव किंकराः ॥ ॥४-४०-५॥
pṛthivi aṁbu carā rāma nānā naga nivāsinaḥ । koṭi oghāḥ ca ime prāptā vānarāḥ tava kiṁkarāḥ ॥ ॥4-40-5॥
Translation
"O Rama! Traversing earth and water, and inhabiting various mountains, these Vanaras have arrived in floods of crores. They are your servants."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे राम! पृथ्वी और जल में विचरने वाले तथा विभिन्न पर्वतों पर रहने वाले, करोड़ों के समूह में आए हुए ये वानर आपके सेवक (किंकर) हैं।"
English Commentary
This verse is the climax of the presentation. Sugriva explicitly hands over command with the phrase Tava kinkarah (They are your servants/slaves). He highlights their amphibious nature (Prithivi ambu chara - moving on earth and water), a crucial tactical advantage for an island campaign. By referring to them as "floods of crores," and submitting them entirely to Rama, Sugriva fulfills his pledge. The transition of power is complete; the Vanara army is now effectively the Rama-Sena.

यह सुग्रीव के समर्पण का चरम बिंदु है। वे कहते हैं, "तव किंकराः" (ये आपके सेवक/दास हैं)। यद्यपि सुग्रीव राजा हैं, परन्तु वे अपनी पूरी सेना का स्वामित्व राम को सौंप देते हैं। वे बताते हैं कि ये वानर जल और थल दोनों में गति करने में सक्षम हैं ('पृथिवि अंबु चरा'), जो लंका (जो समुद्र पार है) जाने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। 'कोटि ओघाः' (करोड़ों की बाढ़) सेना की विशालता को दर्शाता है। अब सेना पूरी तरह से राम के आदेश की प्रतीक्षा में है।
