शैलस्य तस्य पृष्ठेषु कंदरेषु वनेषु च ।
रावणः सह वैदेह्या मार्गितव्यः ततः ततः ॥ ॥४-४०-६२॥
Śailasya tasya pṛṣṭheṣu kandareṣu vaneṣu ca । Rāvaṇaḥ saha vaidehyā mārgitavyaḥ tataḥ tataḥ ॥ ॥4-40-62॥
Translation
On the slopes of that mountain, in its caves, and in its forests, Ravana, along with Vaidehi (Sita), must be searched for everywhere.

उस (उदय) पर्वत के शिखरों पर, गुफाओं में और वनों में, सीता (वैदेही) सहित रावण को हर जगह ढूँढना चाहिए।
English Commentary
After the elaborate cosmological description, Sugriva snaps the focus back to the mission. The majesty of the sunrise and the sages should not distract the Vanaras from their duty. The instruction is specific: search the kandaras (caves) and vanas (forests) of this massive golden mountain. The use of "Ravana with Vaidehi" reiterates the goal—to find the abductor and the abducted. This verse serves as a practical directive amidst the mythical geography.
