शैलेषु तेषु सर्वेषु कंदरेषु वनेषु च ।
ये च न उक्ता मयोद्देशा विचेया तेषु जानकी ॥ ॥४-४०-६७॥
Śaileṣu teṣu sarveṣu kandareṣu vaneṣu ca । Ye ca na uktā mayoddeśā viceyā teṣu jānakī ॥ ॥4-40-67॥
Translation
You must search for Janaki on all those mountains, in the caves, and in the forests. You must also search in those places which I have not explicitly mentioned.

उन सभी पर्वतों पर, गुफाओं में और वनों में तुम्हें सीता को खोजना है। साथ ही, जिन स्थानों का नाम मैंने नहीं भी लिया है, वहाँ भी जानकी (सीता) की खोज करनी चाहिए।
English Commentary
Sugriva displays strict command yet practical humility. He explicitly instructs the Vanaras to search not only the landmarks he listed but also the places he might have omitted (ye ca na ukta). This "catch-all" clause ensures the mission doesn't fail due to a technicality or a gap in the briefing. It empowers the Vanara team to use their judgment and initiative to inspect unmentioned territories within the eastern region, keeping the ultimate goal of finding Janaki as the priority.
