नीलम् अग्नि सुतम् चैव हनूमन्तम् च वानरम् ।
पितामह सुतम् चैव जांबवंतम् महोजसम् ॥ ॥४-४१-२॥
Nīlam agni sutam caiva hanūmantam ca vānaram । Pitāmaha sutam caiva jāmbavantam mahojasam ॥ ॥4-41-2॥
Translation
He sent Neela, the son of Agni; the Vanara Hanuman; and the immensely energetic Jambavan, the son of the Grandfather (Brahma).

(उन्होंने) अग्नि के पुत्र नील, वानर हनुमान, और पितामह (ब्रह्मा) के पुत्र महातेजस्वी जाम्बवान को (दक्षिण दिशा में भेजा)।
English Commentary
Sugriva assembles an all-star team for the South. Neela is the commander-in-chief of the Vanara army. Hanuman is the pivotal hero known for his strength and intellect. Jambavan is the elder statesman, described as Pitamaha sutam (son of Brahma), bringing ancient wisdom and immense energy (mahojasam). This combination of tactical command (Neela), operational capability (Hanuman), and strategic wisdom (Jambavan) signifies the supreme importance of this mission.

दक्षिण दिशा के लिए 'ड्रीम टीम' का गठन हो रहा है। नील सेनापति हैं और अग्निपुत्र हैं (तेज का प्रतीक)। हनुमान जी बुद्धि और बल के भंडार हैं। जाम्बवान सबसे बुजुर्ग और अनुभवी हैं, जो ब्रह्मा के पुत्र माने जाते हैं (सतयुग से जीवित)। इन तीनों का एक साथ होना यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि इस दल में शक्ति, बुद्धि और अनुभव (wisdom) का सही संतुलन है। यह रामायण का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण खोजी दल है।
