चतुर् भागे समुद्रस्य चक्रवान् नाम पर्वतः ।
तत्र चक्रम् सहस्रारम् निर्मितम् विश्वकर्मणा ॥ ॥४-४२-२७॥
Catur bhāge samudrasya cakravān nāma parvataḥ । Tatra cakram sahasrāram nirmitam viśvakarmaṇā ॥ ॥4-42-27॥
Translation
In the fourth quarter of the ocean stands the mountain named Chakravan. It was there that the thousand-spoked wheel (Chakra) was crafted by Vishwakarma.

समुद्र के चौथे भाग में 'चक्रवान' नामक पर्वत है। वहीं पर विश्वकर्मा ने सहस्र (हजार) अरों (Spokes) वाले चक्र (सुदर्शन चक्र) का निर्माण किया था।
English Commentary
Sugriva guides them to the Chakravan mountain, located in the "fourth part" of the ocean (implying a vast distance). He connects geography with theology by identifying this as the forge of the gods. Here, Vishwakarma (the divine architect) created the Sahasrāram Chakram (the thousand-spoked Sudarshana Chakra). This detail serves to verify the location: it is a place of divine history and latent power.

'चतुर् भागे' का अर्थ समुद्र का चौथा हिस्सा या बहुत दूर का क्षेत्र हो सकता है। यहाँ 'चक्रवान' पर्वत का पौराणिक महत्व बताया गया है। यह वह स्थान है जहाँ देवताओं के शिल्पी विश्वकर्मा ने भगवान विष्णु के अस्त्र 'सुदर्शन चक्र' का निर्माण किया था। 'सहस्रारम्' (हजार तीलियों वाला) उस चक्र की शक्ति और जटिलता का वर्णन है। यह जानकारी वानरों को स्थान की पवित्रता और महत्व का बोध कराती है।
