तस्य सानुषु रम्येषु विशालासु गुहासु च ।
रावणः सह वैदेह्या मार्गितव्यः ततः ततः ॥ ॥४-४२-२९॥
Tasya sānuṣu ramyeṣu viśālāsu guhāsu ca । Rāvaṇaḥ saha vaidehyā mārgitavyaḥ tataḥ tataḥ ॥ ॥4-42-29॥
Translation
In the delightful plateaus and vast caves of that mountain, you must search everywhere for Ravana along with Vaidehi.

उस पर्वत (चक्रवान) के रमणीय शिखरों (सानु) और विशाल गुफाओं में तुम्हें रावण और वैदेही (सीता) की सर्वत्र खोज करनी चाहिए।
English Commentary
After establishing the mythological weight of Mount Chakravan, Sugriva refocuses on the objective. The terrain to be scanned includes sānuṣu (plateaus/peaks) and viśālāsu guhāsu (vast caves). The logic implies that Ravana, being a powerful entity equal to the old demons, might seek refuge in these ancient strongholds of power. The command tataḥ tataḥ (here and there / everywhere) urges a comprehensive sweep of this holy and formidable mountain.

चक्रवान पर्वत के पौराणिक महत्व को बताने के बाद, सुग्रीव पुनः मुख्य कार्य पर लौटते हैं। निर्देश वही है—'सानुषु' (समतल चोटियों/पठारों) और 'गुहासु' (गुफाओं) में ढूँढना। चूंकि रावण भी एक राक्षस है और मायावी शक्तियों का स्वामी है, इसलिए ऐसे दिव्य और ऐतिहासिक पर्वतों पर उसका छिपा होना संभव है। 'ततः ततः' का अर्थ है हर जगह, कोने-कोने में छानबीन करना।
