तरुण आदित्य वर्णानि भ्राजमानानि सर्वतः ।
जातरूपमयैः वृक्षैः शोभितानि सुपुष्पितैः ॥ ॥४-४२-३७॥
Taruṇa āditya varṇāni bhrājamānāni sarvataḥ । Jātarūpamayaiḥ vṛkṣaiḥ śobhitāni supuṣpitaiḥ ॥ ॥4-42-37॥
Translation
These mountains shine on all sides with the color of the young (rising) sun, embellished with golden trees that are in full bloom.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे (साठ हजार) पर्वत बाल-सूर्य (उगते सूरज) के समान रंग वाले हैं और सब ओर से चमक रहे हैं। वे खिले हुए फूलों वाले स्वर्णमय वृक्षों से सुशोभित हैं।
English Commentary
This verse paints a vivid aesthetic picture of the sixty thousand hills mentioned previously. They are described as having the hue of the Taruna Aditya (the young or morning sun)—a radiant, reddish-gold color. The landscape is not barren; it is adorned with trees that are themselves made of gold and are supushpitai (laden with flowers). This imagery of eternal bloom and self-illuminating mountains creates a sense of a celestial paradise. The description helps the Vanaras visualize their destination: a glowing, golden forest-range that radiates light, distinguishing it from ordinary earthly terrain.
