त्वयि ये च अपि वत्स्यन्ति देव गन्धर्व दानवाः ।
ते भविष्यन्ति भक्ताः च प्रभया कांचन प्रभाः ॥ ॥४-४२-४०॥
Tvayi ye ca api vatsyanti deva gandharva dānavāḥ । Te bhaviṣyanti bhaktāḥ ca prabhayā kāñcana prabhāḥ ॥ ॥4-42-40॥
Translation
"Furthermore, the Gods, Gandharvas, and Danavas who shall dwell upon you will become my devotees, and they shall radiate a golden luster."

"और जो भी देव, गन्धर्व या दानव तुम पर निवास करेंगे, वे (मेरे) भक्त होंगे और उनकी कान्ति (चमक) सोने के समान होगी।"
English Commentary
Expanding on the solar boon, this verse focuses on the inhabitants of Mount Meru. It states that celestial beings—Devas, Gandharvas, and even Danavas—living there will share two characteristics: they will be devotees of the Sun God, and they will physically emit a golden glow (kanchana prabhah). Interestingly, this suggests a unifying spiritual influence of the Sun that transcends the usual hostility between Devas and Danavas in this specific region. For the Vanara search party, this information identifies the locals as powerful, radiant beings who are spiritually aligned with the Sun, suggesting they should be approached with reverence.

सूर्यदेव के वरदान का यह दूसरा भाग है। यहाँ निवासियों की प्रकृति और उनके रूप का वर्णन है। मेरु पर रहने वाले देव, गन्धर्व और दानव न केवल शारीरिक रूप से स्वर्ण आभा वाले होंगे, बल्कि वे मानसिक रूप से 'भक्त' (सूर्य के उपासक) भी होंगे। यह श्लोक उस स्थान की आध्यात्मिक शांति और सात्विकता को दर्शाता है। यद्यपि वहाँ दानव भी रहते हैं, किन्तु सूर्य की कृपा से वे भी भक्त भाव से रहते हैं। सुग्रीव वानरों को यह बता रहे हैं कि वहाँ के निवासी तेजस्वी और शक्तिशाली हैं, अतः उनसे व्यवहार करते समय सावधानी और सम्मान की आवश्यकता है।
