महत्सु तस्य शैलेषु पर्वतेषु गुहासु च ।
विचिन्वत महाभागाम् राम पत्नीम् अनिन्दिताम् ॥४-४३-१५॥
mahatsu tasya śaileṣu parvateṣu guhāsu ca |
vicinvata mahābhāgām rāma patnīm aninditām ॥4-43-15॥
Translation
In the great rocky slopes and caves of that mountain, search for the highly fortunate and blameless wife of Rama.

उस (काल) पर्वत की विशाल शिलाओं और गुफाओं में महाभाग वाली तथा अनिन्दित (निर्दोष) राम-पत्नी की खोज करना।
English Commentary
Sugriva uses powerful epithets for Sita here. "Mahabhagam" (illustrious/highly fortunate) asserts her enduring dignity despite her captive state, while "Aninditam" (blameless) defends her character against any stigma associated with abduction. This reinforces the moral imperative of the mission—to rescue a woman of spotless virtue. The instruction to search the "guhasu" (caves) of the massive Kala mountain is tactical, acknowledging that caves are the most likely hideouts in such rugged terrain. It demands physical courage from the vanaras to enter dark, unknown caverns.

यहाँ सीता के लिए 'महाभागाम्' (महाभाग्यशाली) और 'अनिन्दिताम्' (जिसकी निंदा न की जा सके/निर्दोष) विशेषणों का प्रयोग अत्यंत मार्मिक है। यद्यपि सीता अपहरण के कारण कष्ट में हैं, सुग्रीव उन्हें भाग्यशाली कहते हैं क्योंकि वे राम की पत्नी हैं, और उनका चरित्र निष्कलंक है। यह वानरों को स्मरण दिलाता है कि वे एक पवित्र सती की खोज कर रहे हैं। काल पर्वत की 'गुहासु' (गुफाओं) में खोजने का निर्देश इसलिए महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि अपहर्ता अक्सर गुफाओं का ही आश्रय लेते हैं। सुग्रीव का निर्देश स्पष्ट है: कोई भी कोना छूटना नहीं चाहिए।
