क्रौन्चम् तु गिरिम् आसाद्य बिलम् तस्य सुदुर्गमम् ।
अप्रमत्तैः प्रवेष्टव्यम् दुष्प्रवेशम् हि तत् स्मृतम् ॥४-४३-२५॥
krauñcam tu girim āsādya bilam tasya sudurgamam |
apramattaiḥ praveṣṭavyam duṣpraveśam hi tat smṛtam ॥4-43-25॥
Translation
Having reached the Krauncha mountain, you must enter its highly inaccessible cave with great vigilance, for it is known to be very difficult to enter.

क्रौञ्च पर्वत पर पहुँचकर, उसकी अत्यंत दुर्गम गुफा (बिल) में तुम लोगों को बड़ी सावधानी के साथ प्रवेश करना चाहिए, क्योंकि उसमें प्रवेश करना अत्यंत कठिन माना गया है।
English Commentary
Sugriva highlights the tactical difficulty of the Krauncha mountain. The mention of a specific 'bilam' (tunnel or cave) that is 'sudurgamam' (very difficult to traverse) adds a layer of peril to the mission. The instruction to be 'apramattaih' (vigilant/free from carelessness) suggests that this terrain requires more than just physical strength; it demands mental alertness.
