सर्व ऋतु सुख सेव्यानि फलन्ति अन्ये नगोत्तमाः ।
महा अर्हाणि मणि चित्राणि फलन्ति अन्ये नगोत्तमाः ॥४-४३-४६॥
sarva ṛtu sukha sevyāni phalanti anye nagottamāḥ |
mahā arhāṇi maṇi citrāṇi phalanti anye nagottamāḥ ॥4-43-46॥
Translation
Other excellent trees yield items that are comfortable to enjoy in all seasons. Still other excellent trees produce precious and variegated gems.

अन्य श्रेष्ठ वृक्ष उन वस्तुओं को फलते हैं जो सभी ऋतुओं में सुखपूर्वक सेवन योग्य होती हैं। कुछ अन्य वृक्ष बहुमूल्य और विचित्र मणियों को उत्पन्न करते हैं।
English Commentary
The focus here is on comfort and adaptability. The trees provide items that are sarva ṛtu sukha sevyāni—enjoyable in all seasons. This implies a perfect regulation of temperature or the nature of the goods being universally pleasant regardless of external conditions. The continued reference to trees bearing gems reinforces the theme of the previous verses: in Uttara Kuru, the distinction between biology (trees) and geology (gems) is blurred, with nature serving as the ultimate provider of wealth.
