Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
तत्र न अमुदितः कश्चिन् न अत्र कश्चित् असत् प्रियः ।
अहनि अहनि वर्धन्ते गुणाः तत्र मनोरमाः ॥४-४३-५२॥
tatra na amuditaḥ kaścin na atra kaścit asat priyaḥ |
ahani ahani vardhante guṇāḥ tatra manoramāḥ ॥4-43-52॥
Translation
No one there is unhappy, nor is anyone fond of unrighteousness. Day by day, the delightful qualities and virtues of that place continue to increase.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वहाँ कोई भी अप्रसन्न नहीं रहता और न ही कोई असत्य या अधर्म को प्रिय मानने वाला है। वहाँ दिन-प्रतिदिन मन को रमाने वाले गुण (सुख-सुविधाएँ) बढ़ते ही रहते हैं।
English Commentary
This verse highlights the moral and psychological perfection of the region. The negation of unhappiness and the rejection of the 'asat' (untruth/unrighteousness) suggests a population that is ethically aligned with Dharma, despite their life of pleasure. Crucially, the phrase 'ahani ahani vardhante' (increasing day by day) defies the earthly law of entropy and diminishing returns. In this realm, satisfaction does not lead to boredom or decay; rather, the capacity for joy and the quality of the environment expand infinitely, marking it as a transcendental plane.

यह श्लोक उस समाज की नैतिक और मानसिक स्थिति को दर्शाता है। यहाँ 'असत् प्रियः' का अभाव होना यह बताता है कि वहाँ के निवासी केवल भोगी ही नहीं, बल्कि सात्विक वृत्ति वाले भी हैं। सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात अंतिम चरण में है—'अहनि अहनि वर्धन्ते गुणाः'। भौतिक जगत में सुख का 'ह्रास' (law of diminishing returns) होता है, परन्तु इस दिव्य क्षेत्र में आनंद और गुण प्रतिदिन बढ़ते हैं। यह 'नित्य-यौवन' और 'अक्षय-सुख' की दार्शनिक अवधारणा है।
