Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
एवम् संचोदिताः सर्वे राज्ञा वानर यूथपाः ।
आनयिष्यामहे सीताम् हनिष्यामः च रावणम् ॥ ॥४-४५-११॥
evam saṃcoditāḥ sarve rājñā vānara yūthapāḥ |
ānayiṣyāmahe sītām haniṣyāmaḥ ca rāvaṇam ॥4-45-11॥
Translation
Thus urged by the King, all those monkey leaders exclaimed, "We shall bring back Sita and we shall kill Ravana!"

राजा की आज्ञा पाकर वे सभी वानर यूथपति (गर्व से कहने लगे)—"हम सीता को ले आएंगे और रावण को मार डालेंगे।"
English Commentary
This verse encapsulates the collective confidence and mission statement of the Vanaras. Despite not knowing Ravana's location or strength, their declaration is absolute: Hanishyamah ca Ravanam (We will kill Ravana). This transition from a "search mission" to a "search and destroy" mindset shows their deep devotion to Rama's cause. They view the retrieval of Sita (Anayishyamahe) and the death of her abductor as inseparable outcomes. It reflects the morale of an army that believes itself invincible under the command of their King and the grace of Rama.

यह वानरों की 'सामूहिक प्रतिज्ञा' (Collective Vow) है। अभी तक उन्होंने रावण को देखा भी नहीं है, न ही उन्हें उसकी शक्ति का अनुमान है, फिर भी स्वामी भक्ति और उत्साह में वे घोषणा कर रहे हैं कि वे रावण का वध कर देंगे। 'आनयिष्यामहे' (हम ले आएंगे) और 'हनिष्यामः' (हम मार डालेंगे)—ये क्रियाएं उनके आत्मविश्वास को दर्शाती हैं। यह अतिशयोक्ति नहीं, बल्कि सैनिकों का 'बैटल क्राई' (Battle Cry) है। उनका लक्ष्य केवल खोज (Search) तक सीमित नहीं है; वे युद्ध और विजय की मानसिकता लेकर चल रहे हैं। यह पंक्ति दिखाती है कि उन्होंने राम के दुःख को अपना दुःख और राम के शत्रु को अपना शत्रु मान लिया है।
