विधमिष्यामि अहम् वृक्षान् दारयिष्यामि अहम् गिरीन् ।
धरणीम् दारयिष्यामि क्षोभयिष्यामि सागरान् ॥ ॥४-४५-१४॥
vidhamiṣyāmi aham vṛkṣān dārayiṣyāmi aham girīn |
dharaṇīm dārayiṣyāmi kṣobhayiṣyāmi sāgarān ॥4-45-14॥
Translation
"I shall uproot trees, I shall split the mountains. I shall cleave the earth and I shall agitate the oceans."
हिंदी अनुवाद
(तीसरा वानर कहता है) "मैं वृक्षों को उखाड़ फेंकूंगा, मैं पर्वतों को विदीर्ण कर (फोड़) दूंगा। मैं पृथ्वी को फाड़ दूंगा और सागरों को भी क्षुब्ध (मथ) कर दूंगा।"
English Commentary
This verse lists the specific types of destructive feats the Vanaras are capable of. Unlike human warriors who boast of archery or swordplay, the Vanaras boast of manipulating the environment: uprooting trees (Vidhamishyami vrikshan), splitting mountains (Darayishyami girin), and churning oceans. This aligns with their description as raw forces of nature. The repetition of Aham (I) and the future tense verbs creates a rhythm of rhythmic pounding, mirroring the physical destruction they promise to unleash upon Rama’s enemies.

वानरों की शक्ति 'प्रकृति-आधारित' है। वे अस्त्र-शस्त्र की बात कम करते हैं और प्राकृतिक उपादानों (वृक्ष, पर्वत, सागर) को तहस-नहस करने की बात अधिक करते हैं। 'दारयिष्यामि' (फाड़ दूंगा/विदीर्ण कर दूंगा) और 'क्षोभयिष्यामि' (क्षुब्ध कर दूंगा) जैसे शब्द उनकी विनाशकारी क्षमता को दिखाते हैं। रामायण में वानरों को प्रायः पर्वतों और वृक्षों से युद्ध करते हुए दिखाया गया है, इसलिए यह उनका स्वाभाविक शक्ति-प्रदर्शन है। यह वक्तव्य उनके प्रचंड आवेग (Kinetic Energy) का परिचायक है जो किसी भी बाधा को भौतिक रूप से नष्ट करने के लिए तत्पर है।
