इति एकैकः तदा तत्र वानरा बल दर्पिताः ।
ऊचुः च वचनम् तस्य हरि राजस्य सन्निधौ ॥ ॥४-४५-१७॥
iti ekaikaḥ tadā tatra vānarā bala darpitāḥ |
ūcuḥ ca vacanam tasya hari rājasya sannidhau ॥4-45-17॥
Translation
Thus, one by one, those monkeys, proud of their strength, spoke these words then and there in the presence of the King of Monkeys (Sugriva).
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस प्रकार अपने बल के गर्व से युक्त (दर्पित) उन वानरों ने उस समय वानरराज सुग्रीव की उपस्थिति में एक-एक करके (ये) वचन कहे।
English Commentary
This concluding verse frames the previous boasts as a collective display of morale in the Sannidhau (presence) of their King. The term Bala-darpitah (arrogant/proud with strength) describes their state of mind. It suggests a chaotic, high-energy assembly where warriors vie for the King's attention and approval. Sugriva allows this display, likely to ensure that enthusiasm remains high before they disperse into the harsh realities of the search. It marks the end of the preparatory phase and the beginning of the great exodus into the unknown.

यह सर्ग (या प्रसंग) का समापन श्लोक है। यह स्पष्ट करता है कि ऊपर कहे गए सभी वचन सुग्रीव के सामने कहे गए थे। 'बल दर्पिताः' (बल से दर्पित/गर्वित) विशेषण वानरों की मानसिकता का सटीक वर्णन है—यह अहंकार नकारात्मक नहीं, बल्कि योद्धा का स्वाभिमान है। सुग्रीव ने उन्हें चुप नहीं कराया, क्योंकि एक नेता के रूप में वे जानते हैं कि युद्ध से पहले सैनिकों का मनोबल ऊंचा रहना चाहिए। यह 'ब्रेनस्टॉर्मिंग' या 'मोटिवेशनल सेशन' जैसा दृश्य है, जहाँ हर कोई अपनी प्रतिबद्धता जाहिर कर रहा है। इसके बाद वास्तविक कठिन यात्रा आरंभ होती है।
