अभ्यधावत सम्क्रुद्धो मुष्टिम् उद्यम्य संगतम् ।
तम् आपतन्तम् सहसा वालि पुत्रो अंगदः तदा ॥ ॥४-४८-२०॥
abhyadhāvata saṃkruddho muṣṭim udyamya saṃgatam |
tam āpatantam sahasā vāli putro aṅgadaḥ tadā ॥4-48-20॥
Translation
Enraged, he rushed (at them) raising his clenched fist. Then Angada, the son of Vali, saw him attacking suddenly.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह अत्यंत क्रोधित होकर अपनी बंधी हुई मुट्ठी उठाकर दौड़ा। तब वालिपुत्र अंगद ने उसे अचानक (अपनी ओर) आते हुए देखा।
English Commentary
The tension snaps as the Asura charges with a raised fist. The narrative focus shifts to Angada, explicitly referring to him as 'Vali putra' (son of Vali). This patronymic is significant; Vali was renowned for his speed and strength, and Angada inheriting these traits is crucial here. असुर केवल धमकी देकर नहीं रुका, उसने आक्रमण कर दिया। वह मुट्ठी तानकर (मुष्टिम् उद्यम्य) वानरों को मारने दौड़ा। यहाँ अंगद को 'वालि पुत्र' कहा गया है, जो स्मरण दिलाता है कि वे महाबली वालि के पुत्र हैं और उनमें अपने पिता जैसा ही अपार बल है। अंगद ने शत्रु को अपनी ओर तेजी से आते देखा और प्रतिक्रिया के लिए तैयार हो गए। यह दृश्य गति और तनाव से भरा है।
