English Commentary
Angada's strike is fueled by a mistaken identity—he believes he has found Ravana, the target of their mission. This belief likely adds adrenaline and ferocity to his blow. Interestingly, he uses an open palm slap ('Talena'), a move that might seem dismissive but in the context of Vanara combat, implies a crushing force. The result is immediate: the massive demon vomits blood. This demonstrates the immense physical disparity between the Vanara royals and ordinary demons.

यह श्लोक अंगद की मानसिकता और शक्ति दोनों को प्रकट करता है। अंगद ने सोचा कि यही रावण है, इसलिए उन्होंने पूरी ताकत से प्रहार किया। उन्होंने किसी शस्त्र का नहीं, बल्कि अपने 'तल' (हथेली/थप्पड़) का प्रयोग किया, जो वानरों की स्वाभाविक युद्ध शैली है। एक ही प्रहार इतना घातक था कि असुर के मुंह से खून निकल पड़ा। यह अंगद के बाहुबल का प्रमाण है कि एक पर्वत समान असुर एक ही वार में धराशायी होने लगा।
