सदृशम् खलु वः वाक्यम् अंगदो यत् उवाच ह ।
हितम् च एव अनुकूलम् च क्रियताम् अस्य भाषितम् ॥ ॥४-४९-१२॥
sadṛśam khalu vaḥ vākyam aṅgado yat uvāca ha |
hitam ca eva anukūlam ca kriyatām asya bhāṣitam ॥4-49-12॥
Translation
"Indeed, what Angada has spoken is worthy of you. His words are beneficial and favorable; therefore, let his speech be acted upon."

"निश्चित्य ही अंगद ने जो कहा है, वह आप लोगों के योग्य (अनुरूप) है। इनका कथन हमारे हित में और अनुकूल है, इसलिए इनके वचनानुसार कार्य करें।"
English Commentary
Gandhamadana provides the necessary ratification of Angada's plan. He categorizes Angada's advice as both 'Hitam' (beneficial/good for their well-being) and 'Anukulam' (favorable/appropriate for the situation). By urging the others to act upon it ('Kriyatam'), he transforms Angada's motivational speech into an executable order. This reinforces the hierarchy and ensures that the group remains cohesive despite their exhaustion.

गंधमादन अंगद के प्रस्ताव का पूर्ण समर्थन करते हैं। वे इसे 'हितम्' (कल्याणकारी) और 'अनुकूलम्' (परिस्थिति के अनुसार सही) बताते हैं। 'सदृशम् खलु वः' का अर्थ है कि अंगद ने जो कहा वह उनके कुल और वीरता के अनुरूप है। यह एक रणनीतिक अनुमोदन है। जब सेना हताश हो, तो नेतृत्व में एकमत होना (Unity in Command) अनिवार्य होता है, और गंधमादन यही सुनिश्चित कर रहे हैं।
