अनिर्वेदम् च दाक्ष्यम् च मनसः च अपराजयम् ।
कार्य सिद्धि कराणि आहुः तस्मात् एतत् ब्रवीमि अहम् ॥ ॥४-४९-६॥
anirvedam ca dākṣyam ca manasaḥ ca aparājayam |
kārya siddhi karāṇi āhuḥ tasmāt etat bravīmi aham ॥4-49-6॥
Translation
"Non-despondency, diligence, and the refusal of the mind to accept defeat—these are said to bring success in tasks. Therefore, I say this."

"उत्साह (निराशा का अभाव), दक्षता (कार्य-कुशलता) और मन का पराजित न होना—इन्हें विद्वान कार्य को सिद्ध करने वाला बताते हैं। इसलिए मैं यह कह रहा हूँ।"
English Commentary
This is a key philosophical verse (Subhashita) in the Ramayana. Angada outlines the triad for success: 'Anirvedam' (absence of despondency/undying hope), 'Dakshyam' (skill/diligence), and 'Manasah aparajayam' (unconquerable spirit). He elevates the conversation from a mere search mission to a lesson on perseverance. By stating 'Ahu' (they say/it is said), he appeals to ancient wisdom to validate his command, urging the Vanaras to master their minds before mastering the task.

यह रामायण का एक अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण और प्रसिद्ध सुभाषित है। 'अनिर्वेद' का अर्थ है खेद या निराशा का न होना (Hopefulness)। 'दाक्ष्यम्' का अर्थ है कार्य करने की कुशलता और तत्परता। 'मनसः अपराजयम्' का अर्थ है मानसिक दृढ़ता। अंगद नीतिशास्त्र का हवाला देते हुए कहते हैं कि सफलता केवल शारीरिक श्रम से नहीं, बल्कि अदम्य मानसिक शक्ति से मिलती है। यह श्लोक जीवन प्रबंधन का एक मूल मंत्र है।
