भवता सख्य कामौ तौ भ्रातरौ राम लक्ष्मणौ ।
प्रगृह्य च अर्चयस्व एतौ पूजनीयतमौ उभौ ॥ ॥४-५-७॥
Bhavatā sakhya kāmau tau bhrātarau rāma lakṣmaṇau |
Pragṛhya ca arcayasva etau pūjanīyatamau ubhau ॥4-5-7॥
Translation
These two brothers, Rama and Lakshmana, are desirous of your friendship. Therefore, receive them and worship (honor) these two, who are most deserving of reverence.
हिंदी अनुवाद
ये दोनों भाई, राम और लक्ष्मण, आपसे मित्रता करने के इच्छुक हैं। अतः आप इन दोनों परम पूजनीय वीरों का स्वागत करें और इनका सत्कार करें।
English Commentary
Hanuman concludes his introduction with a clear call to action. He explicitly states that they desire Sakhya (friendship). This dispels any remaining fear Sugriva might have about their intentions. However, Hanuman also reminds Sugriva of his duty: these guests are Pujaniyatamau (most worthy of worship). He instructs Sugriva to receive them not just as equals, but with the reverence due to superior beings. It serves as a gentle prompt to the monkey king to mind his etiquette and seize this golden opportunity for an alliance.
हिंदी टीका
हनुमान जी अब अपनी भूमिका पूरी करते हुए सुग्रीव को निर्देश (सलाह) देते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि राम 'सख्य कामौ' (मित्रता की इच्छा रखने वाले) हैं। यह सुग्रीव के लिए सबसे बड़ी राहत की बात है। हनुमान जी सुग्रीव को सावधान भी करते हैं कि ये 'पूजनीयतमौ' (सर्वाधिक पूजनीय) हैं, इसलिए इनका स्वागत साधारण रीति से नहीं, बल्कि पूर्ण आदर और पूजा भाव से होना चाहिए। यहाँ हनुमान जी मंत्री और गुरु दोनों की भूमिका निभाते हुए अपने राजा को सही आचरण की शिक्षा दे रहे हैं।
