प्रत्युवाच ततः सर्वान् इदम् वानर यूथपान् ।
सर्वेषाम् परितुष्टा अस्मि वानराणाम् तरस्विनाम् ॥ ॥४-५२-१९॥
pratyuvāca tataḥ sarvān idam vānara yūthapān । sarveṣām parituṣṭā asmi vānarāṇām tarasvinām ॥ ॥4-52-19॥
Translation
Then she replied to all those leaders of the monkey herds: "I am well-pleased with all of you powerful monkeys."
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उन्होंने (स्वयंप्रभा ने) उन सभी वानर-यूथपतियों से यह कहा—"मैं आप सभी वेगवान (बलशाली) वानरों से भली-भांति संतुष्ट हूँ।"
English Commentary
Swayamprabha responds with the grace of a realized ascetic. Before refusing their help, she validates their intent by stating she is parituṣṭā (completely satisfied/pleased). This indicates that the act of giving (charity/hospitality) brings its own fulfillment to the giver, requiring no external reward. By addressing them as tarasvinām (swift/powerful ones), she acknowledges their prowess but subtly implies that her spiritual contentment is independent of their physical might. It is a dignified way of establishing that she is not in need.

स्वयंप्रभा का उत्तर एक सिद्ध योगी के स्वभाव के अनुरूप है। वह हनुमान के प्रस्ताव को सीधे अस्वीकार करने से पहले अपनी प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करती हैं। 'परितुष्टा अस्मि' (मैं पूरी तरह संतुष्ट हूँ) कहकर वह यह जताती हैं कि अतिथियों को भोजन कराना ही गृहस्थ या तपस्वी के लिए संतोष का विषय है, उसके बदले कुछ पाना नहीं। वह वानरों को 'तरस्विनाम्' (वेगवान/शक्तिशाली) कहकर संबोधित करती हैं, जो यह दर्शाता है कि वह उनकी शक्ति और क्षमता को पहचानती हैं, फिर भी उन्हें अपनी तपस्या के बल पर उनसे किसी सहायता की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
