सर्वान् एव बिलात् अस्मात् तारयिष्यामि वानरान् ।
निमीलयत चक्षून्षि सर्वे वानर पुंगवाः ॥ ॥४-५२-२७॥
sarvān eva bilāt asmāt tārayiṣyāmi vānarān । nimīlayata cakṣūnṣi sarve vānara puṃgavāḥ ॥ ॥4-52-27॥
Translation
"I shall indeed transport all you monkeys out of this cave. [But first,] close your eyes, all you excellent monkeys."

"मैं तुम सभी वानरों को इस बिल से पार उतार दूँगी। (किन्तु इसके लिए) हे वानर श्रेष्ठों! तुम सभी अपनी आँखें मूंद लो।"
English Commentary
Swayamprabha offers deliverance with a condition: sensory restriction. The command to "close your eyes" (nimīlayata cakṣūnṣi) is a classic trope in mystical transport, suggesting the transition occurs in a dimension or manner that mortal eyes cannot witness or withstand. It also serves as a test of faith—the monkeys must completely trust the ascetic, surrendering their primary sense (sight) and their control to her. Her addressing them as vānara puṃgavāḥ (bulls among monkeys/excellent monkeys) reinforces a bond of mutual respect.
