Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
एष प्रसवणः शैलः सागरो अयम् महा उदधिः ।
स्वस्ति वो अस्तु गमिष्यामि भवनम् वानरर्षभाः ।
इति उक्त्वा तत् बिलम् श्रीमत् प्रविवेश स्वयम्प्रभा ॥ ॥४-५२-३२॥
eṣa prasavaṇaḥ śailaḥ sāgaro ayam mahā udadhiḥ । svasti vo astu gamiṣyāmi bhavanam vānaraṛṣabhāḥ । iti uktvā tat bilam śrīmat praviveśa svayamprabhā ॥ ॥4-52-32॥
Translation
"This is the Prasravana mountain, and this is the ocean, the great receptacle of waters. May prosperity be yours! I shall go to my abode, O bulls among monkeys." Having said this, Swayamprabha entered that glorious cave.
हिंदी अनुवाद
"यह प्रसवण पर्वत है और यह महान जलराशि वाला सागर है। हे वानर श्रेष्ठों! तुम्हारा कल्याण हो, अब मैं अपने भवन (गुफा) को जाती हूँ।" ऐसा कहकर स्वयंप्रभा उस शोभाशाली बिल में प्रविष्ट हो गईं।
English Commentary
Swayamprabha concludes her guidance by pointing out the Prasravana mountain and the vast ocean (mahā udadhiḥ), confirming they have reached the southern tip of the land. Her farewell is brief and benevolent: svasti vo astu (may there be well-being for you). She seeks no praise, immediately returning to her seclusion (praviveśa). This exit underscores her detachment; she intervened only to preserve dharma and life, and once done, she retreats, leaving the monkeys to face their next challenge—the ocean and the deadline.

स्वयंप्रभा विदा लेने से पूर्व उन्हें प्रमुख भू-चिह्न (landmarks) दिखाती हैं—प्रसवण पर्वत और दक्षिण का 'महा उदधिः' (महान सागर)। 'स्वस्ति वो अस्तु' (तुम्हारा कल्याण हो)—यह आशीर्वाद देकर वह निःस्वार्थ भाव से वापस अपने एकांतवास में लौट जाती हैं। उनका यह प्रस्थान बताता है कि सच्चे साधक संसार में आते हैं, उपकार करते हैं, और बिना किसी यश या लाभ की कामना के पुनः अपनी साधना में लीन हो जाते हैं। 'श्रीमत्' बिल में उनका प्रवेश उनके दिव्य और रहस्यमयी चरित्र का समापन करता है।
