भवन्त प्रत्ययम् प्राप्ता नीति मार्ग विशारदाः ।
हितेषु अभिरता भर्त्तुः निसृष्टाः सर्व कर्मसु ॥४-५३-१०॥
bhavanta pratyayam prāptā nīti mārga viśāradāḥ |
hiteṣu abhiratā bharttuḥ nisṛṣṭāḥ sarva karmasu ॥4-53-10॥
Translation
"You have all obtained the trust (of the King), are experts in the path of policy, are devoted to the welfare of your master, and are commissioned in all duties."

"आप सभी (सुग्रीव के) विश्वासपात्र हैं, नीति-मार्ग के विशेषज्ञ हैं, अपने स्वामी के हित में संलग्न रहने वाले हैं और सभी प्रकार के कार्यों में नियुक्त किए जाने योग्य (सक्षम) हैं।"
English Commentary
Angada employs praise to remind the assembled Vanaras of their elite status and moral obligation. By calling them nīti mārga viśāradāḥ (experts in policy/conduct), he challenges them to think strategically rather than emotionally. Describing them as devoted to the master's welfare (hiteṣu abhiratā bharttuḥ) reinforces their loyalty, subtly arguing that their current predicament is a failure of circumstance, not intent. This verse serves to validate their worthiness before Angada proposes drastic measures. He is establishing that they are the "chosen ones" (nisṛṣṭāḥ), trusted by the King, which ironically makes their failure even more dangerous, as high rank demands high accountability.

अंगद यहाँ वानरों के आत्म-सम्मान को जगाने और उन्हें उनकी जिम्मेदारी का अहसास कराने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं। वे उन्हें 'नीति मार्ग विशारदाः' (नीति निपुण) कहकर यह संकेत दे रहे हैं कि उन्हें इस कठिन परिस्थिति में नीतिपूर्ण निर्णय लेना चाहिए। 'भर्त्तुः हितेषु अभिरता' (स्वामी के हित में रत) कहकर वे यह भी याद दिला रहे हैं कि वे विद्रोही नहीं हैं, बल्कि वफादार सेवक हैं। यह प्रशंसा केवल चापलूसी नहीं है; यह उन्हें यह याद दिलाने का तरीका है कि वे सुग्रीव की सर्वश्रेष्ठ सेना (Elite force) हैं, और उनसे साधारण सैनिकों जैसी चूक की अपेक्षा नहीं की जाती। यह मनोवैज्ञानिक दबाव भी बनाता है कि उन्हें कोई उच्च स्तरीय समाधान खोजना होगा।
