तथा सर्वाणि भूतानि तिर्यक् योनि गतानि अपि ।
प्रियम् कुर्वन्ति रामस्य त्यक्त्वा प्राणान् यथा वयम् ॥ ॥४-५६-१०॥
tathā sarvāṇi bhūtāni tiryak yoni gatāni api । priyam kurvanti rāmasya tyaktvā prāṇān yathā vayam ॥ ॥4-56-10॥
Translation
"Just as we are doing, even all other beings, including those born in the wombs of birds and beasts, perform good deeds for Rama by sacrificing their lives."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"जिस प्रकार हम (प्राण त्याग रहे हैं), उसी प्रकार तिर्यक योनि (पशु-पक्षी आदि) में जन्म लेने वाले प्राणी भी अपने प्राणों का त्याग करके राम का प्रिय कार्य करते हैं।"
English Commentary
Angada reflects on the universal charisma and dharma of Rama. He observes that devotion to Rama transcends species, as even those in "tiryak yoni" (lower life forms like birds and beasts) are willing to sacrifice their lives for his cause. By saying "yathā vayam" (just like us), Angada draws a parallel between the Vanaras' impending death and Jatayu's sacrifice, thereby elevating their tragic situation to a noble offering. It suggests that dying for Rama’s cause, whether in battle like Jatayu or through fasting like the Vanaras, is a glorious destiny, giving spiritual weight to their despair.

अंगद यहाँ "राम-काज" की महिमा और व्यापकता का वर्णन कर रहे हैं। वे कहते हैं कि राम का व्यक्तित्व ऐसा है कि केवल मनुष्य या वानर ही नहीं, बल्कि "तिर्यक् योनि" (पशु-पक्षी) के जीव भी उनके लिए बलिदान देते हैं। जटायु इसका प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण हैं। "यथा वयम्" (जैसे हम) कहकर अंगद वानरों के बलिदान को जटायु के बलिदान के समकक्ष रखते हैं, जिससे वानरों को अपनी आसन्न मृत्यु में भी एक सार्थकता (meaning) मिलती है। यह भावना उन्हें मृत्यु के भय से ऊपर उठाकर कर्तव्य-बोध और भक्ति के स्तर पर ले जाती है।
