Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
स राज्ये स्थापितः तेन सुग्रीवो वानरेश्वरः ।
राजा वानर मुख्यानाम् तेन प्रस्थापिता वयम् ॥ ॥४-५७-१४॥
Sa rājye sthāpitaḥ tena sugrīvo vānaresvaraḥ । Rājā vānara mukhyānām tena prasthāpitā vayam ॥ ॥4-57-14॥
Translation
That Lord of Vanaras, Sugriva, was established in the kingdom by him (Rama). We have been dispatched by him, the King of the Vanara chiefs.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उनके (राम के) द्वारा वानरराज सुग्रीव को राज्य पर स्थापित किया गया। वानर सरदारों के राजा (सुग्रीव) के द्वारा ही हम लोग (यहाँ) भेजे गए हैं।
English Commentary
Angada legitimized their presence in the forbidden lands. They are not trespassers but emissaries sent by Raja vanara mukhyanam (King of the Vanara chiefs), Sugriva. By reiterating that Sugriva was established by Rama, Angada emphasizes the chain of command: Rama -> Sugriva -> Angada and the search party. This formal declaration invites Sampati to treat them as representatives of a sovereign power, asking for cooperation rather than conflict.

इस श्लोक में अंगद अपने मिशन की आधिकारिकता (authority) स्थापित करते हैं। वह बताते हैं कि वे कोई भटकते हुए समूह नहीं हैं, बल्कि उन्हें राजा सुग्रीव द्वारा भेजा गया है, जिन्हें स्वयं राम ने स्थापित किया है। 'तेन प्रस्थापिता वयम्' (हम उनके द्वारा भेजे गए हैं) - यह वाक्य संपाती को यह समझाने के लिए है कि उनकी खोज एक राजकीय आदेश (Royal Decree) है। अंगद यहाँ एक राजकुमार और दूत की भूमिका में बोल रहे हैं, जो अपने राजा के आदेश का पालन कर रहा है।
