एताम् बुद्धिम् ततः चक्रुः सर्वे ते हरि यूथपाः ।
अवतार्य गिरेः शृंगात् गृध्रम् आह अंगदः तदा ॥ ॥४-५७-४॥
Etām buddhim tataḥ cakruḥ sarve te hari yūthapāḥ । Avatārya gireḥ śṛṅgāt gṛdhram āha aṅgadaḥ tadā ॥ ॥4-57-4॥
Translation
All those leaders of the monkeys made this resolve. Then, having helped the vulture down from the mountain peak, Angada spoke to him.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन सभी वानर यूथपतियों ने ऐसा निश्चय (विचार) किया। तब अंगद ने उस गृध्र को पर्वत के शिखर से नीचे उतारकर उससे बात की।
English Commentary
Following their collective resolve (etam buddhim), the paralysis of fear is broken. Angada, acting as the courageous leader, takes the initiative to physically assist the vulture down from the peak (avatarya). This action signifies a leap of faith. By helping the potential predator, Angada opens the channel for communication. This moment is pivotal; it shifts the interaction from passive suspicion to active engagement, enabling the exchange of information that will ultimately save the mission. It marks the beginning of the crucial dialogue between Angada and Sampati.

वानरों ने जब यह स्वीकार कर लिया कि मृत्यु ही उनका लक्ष्य है, तो उनका भय समाप्त हो गया। अंगद, जो उनका नेतृत्व कर रहे थे, ने पहल की। उन्होंने संपाती को 'गिरेः शृंगात्' (पर्वत की चोटी) से नीचे उतारा। यह कार्य अंगद के साहस और नेतृत्व को दर्शाता है। वह जोखिम उठाने को तैयार थे। 'गृध्रम् आह' (गृध्र से कहा) - अब संवाद की भूमिका तैयार हो गई है। यहाँ से कथा में एक महत्वपूर्ण मोड़ आता है जहाँ संपाती उन्हें सीता का पता बताएगा। यह श्लोक अविश्वास से विश्वास और संवाद की ओर संक्रमण है।
