तरुणी रूप संपन्ना सर्व आभरण भूषिता ।
ह्रियमाणा मया दृष्टा रावणेन दुरात्मना ॥ ॥४-५८-१५॥
Taruṇī rūpa saṃpannā sarva ābharaṇa bhūṣitā |
Hriyamāṇā mayā dṛṣṭā rāvaṇena durātmanā ॥4-58-15॥
Translation
I saw a young woman, endowed with beauty and adorned with all ornaments, being carried away by the evil-minded Ravana.

मैंने उस दुरात्मा रावण द्वारा एक युवती को हरकर ले जाते हुए देखा, जो रूपवान थी और सभी आभूषणों से अलंकृत थी।
English Commentary
Sampati delivers the positive identification the search party needed. He confirms seeing a 'taruni' (young woman) being abducted. The description 'sarva abharana bhushita' (adorned with all jewels) is a key identifier, correlating with the jewels the Vanaras might have seen or heard about (dropped by Sita). Labeling Ravana as 'duratmana' (evil-souled) reinforces the moral dichotomy. This represents the first concrete, external verification of the abduction in the narrative timeline for the southern search party.
