इह स्थः अहम् प्रपश्यामि रावणम् जानकीम् तथा ।
अस्माकम् अपि सौपर्णम् दिव्यम् चक्षुर् बलम् तथा ॥ ॥४-५८-३१॥
Iha sthaḥ aham prapaśyāmi rāvaṇam jānakīm tathā |
Asmākam api sauparṇam divyam cakṣur balam tathā ॥4-58-31॥
Translation
Staying right here, I clearly see Ravana and Janaki. We also possess the divine power of vision belonging to the Suparna lineage.

यहाँ बैठा हुआ ही मैं रावण और जानकी को स्पष्ट देख रहा हूँ। हममें भी 'सौपर्ण' (सुपर्ण/गरुड़ संबंधी) दिव्य दृष्टि का बल विद्यमान है।
English Commentary
Sampati claims real-time visual confirmation. 'Iha sthah' (standing right here), he can see the targets. He attributes this not to magic, but to 'Sauparnam balam'—the inherent power of the Suparna race (eagles/garudas). This removes any doubt about the accuracy of his report. He isn't guessing; he is witnessing. It reinforces the theme that every being in Rama's army brings a unique, specialized skill necessary for the mission's success.
