उपायो दृश्यताम् कश्चित् लंघने लवण अंभसः ।
अभिगम्य तु वैदेहीम् समृद्ध अर्था गमिष्यथ ॥ ॥४-५८-३४॥
Upāyō dṛśyatām kaścit laṅghane lavaṇa ambhasaḥ । Abhigamya tu vaidehīm samṛddha arthā gamiṣyatha ॥ ॥4-58-34॥
Translation
Let some means be found to cross this saline ocean. Having reached Vaidehi, you shall indeed return with your purpose fully accomplished.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस खारे पानी के सागर को लांघने का कोई उपाय खोजा जाए। वैदेही (सीता) के पास पहुँचकर आप निश्चय ही अपने मनोरथ में सफल होकर लौटेंगे।
English Commentary
Here, Sampati transitions from an informant to a strategic guide. While the location of Sita has been revealed, the physical obstacle of the saline ocean remains. By instructing them to "find a means" (Upāyō dṛśyatām), Sampati challenges the Vanaras' intellect and valor. He assures them that crossing the ocean is the critical gateway to success; once they reach Vaidehi, their mission (artha) will be fully realized (samṛddha). This verse marks a pivotal shift from the Vanaras' earlier despair (where they contemplated fasting to death) to active problem-solving. It serves as a potent morale booster, promising victory to those who dare to cross the impossible.

संपाति यहाँ वानरों का मार्गदर्शन एक रणनीतिकार की भाँति कर रहे हैं। यद्यपि संपाति ने सीता की स्थिति बता दी है, परंतु समुद्र लांघना अभी भी वानरों के लिए एक बड़ी चुनौती है। 'उपायो दृश्यताम्' कहकर संपाति वानरों की बुद्धि और पुरुषार्थ को चुनौती दे रहे हैं। वह उन्हें आश्वस्त करते हैं कि यदि वे समुद्र पार करने में सफल हो गए, तो उनका 'अर्थ' (प्रयोजन) यानी सीता की खोज और राम की सेवा निश्चित रूप से 'समृद्ध' (सफल) होगी। यह श्लोक निराशा से आशा और निष्क्रियता से कर्म की ओर संक्रमण का प्रतीक है। संपाति की भविष्यवाणी कि वे सफल होकर लौटेंगे, वानरों में नए उत्साह का संचार करती है।
