तम् पुनः प्रत्यानयित्वा वै तम् देशम् पतग ईश्वरम् ।
बभूवुः वानरा हृष्टाः प्रवृत्तिम् उपलभ्य ते ॥ ॥४-५८-३७॥
Tam punaḥ pratyānayitvā vai tam deśam pataga īśvaram । Babhūvuḥ vānarā hṛṣṭāḥ pravṛttim upalabhya te ॥ ॥4-58-37॥
Translation
Having brought that lord of birds back to that place again, the Vanaras became delighted, having obtained news (of Sita).
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनंतर उस पक्षीराज को पुन: उसी स्थान पर वापस लाकर, सीताजी का वृत्तांत (प्रवृत्ति) पाकर वे वानर अत्यंत हर्षित हुए।
English Commentary
This verse concludes the immediate interaction regarding the funeral rites and sets the emotional tone for the next phase. After facilitating the rituals, the Vanaras bring Sampati back to safety. The keyword here is Hṛṣṭāḥ (delighted). The dramatic transformation of the Vanaras—from being on the verge of ritual suicide to being filled with joy—is attributed entirely to Pravṛttim upalabhya (obtaining news/intelligence). It highlights a psychological truth: clarity and purpose can revive the spirit even before the goal is physically achieved. The news of Sita is the catalyst that saved the expedition.

यह श्लोक किष्किन्धा काण्ड के इस विशेष प्रसंग का समापन और अगले सर्ग की भूमिका है। जलांजलि की क्रिया पूर्ण होने के बाद वानर संपाति को सुरक्षित वापस ले आते हैं। यहाँ 'हृष्टाः' (हर्षित) शब्द अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। कुछ ही समय पूर्व जो वानर मृत्यु का आलिंगन करने (प्रायोपवेश) बैठे थे, अब वे जीवन और आशा से भरे हैं। यह परिवर्तन केवल 'प्रवृत्तिम् उपलभ्य' (समाचार/सुराग प्राप्त होने) के कारण हुआ है। जानकारी या सूचना (Information) ही यहाँ अमृत समान सिद्ध हुई है जिसने पूरी सेना के मनोबल को पुनर्जीवित कर दिया है।
