जटायुषः तु एवम् उक्तो भ्रात्रा सम्पातिना तदा ।
युव राजो महाप्राज्ञः प्रत्युवाच अंगदः तदा ॥ ॥४-५८-८॥
Jaṭāyuṣaḥ tu evam ukto bhrātrā sampātinā tadā |
Yuva rājo mahāprājñaḥ pratyuvāca aṅgadaḥ tadā ॥4-58-8॥
Translation
Being addressed thus by Jatayu's brother Sampati, the extremely wise Crown Prince Angada then replied.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जटायु के भाई सम्पाती द्वारा इस प्रकार कहे जाने पर, महाबुद्धिमान युवराज अंगद ने तब उत्तर दिया।
English Commentary
The focus shifts back to Angada. He is described as 'mahaprajnah' (greatly wise/prudent). This epithet is significant because Angada recognizes a strategic opportunity. Instead of reacting with fear to the giant bird or getting lost in the sorrow of the story, his wisdom allows him to see a potential ally in Sampati. He realizes that this witness, who has lived since the time of Vritra, might possess the intelligence (intel) required to find Sita.
