जांबवान् वानर श्रेष्ठः सह सर्वैः प्लवंगमैः ।
भू तलात् सहसा उत्थाय गृध्र राजानम् अब्रवीत् ॥ ॥४-५९-२॥
Jāmbavān vānara śreṣṭhaḥ saha sarvaiḥ plavaṃgamaiḥ । Bhū talāt sahasā utthāya gṛdhra rājanam abravīt ॥ ॥4-59-2॥
Translation
Jambavan, the best among Vanaras, along with all the monkeys, suddenly rose from the ground and spoke to the King of Vultures.

वानरश्रेष्ठ जाम्बवान अन्य सभी वानरों के साथ पृथ्वी (धरातल) से सहसा उठ खड़े हुए और गृध्रराज से बोले।
English Commentary
The action of Jambavan rising suddenly (Sahasā utthāya) from the ground symbolizes a physical rejection of their previous lethargy and resignation. Until this moment, they were seated in a posture of mourning or waiting for death. Jambavan, despite his age, exhibits agility driven by renewed purpose. He assumes the role of the elder statesman and spokesperson. While Angada is the prince, Jambavan facilitates the critical extraction of intelligence. His rising is also a mark of respect towards the Vulture King, signaling that a formal and urgent inquiry is about to begin.

जाम्बवान का 'सहसा उत्थाय' (अ突然 उठना) उनकी तत्परता और कार्यसिद्धि के प्रति अधीरता को दर्शाता है। अब तक वे भूमि पर बैठकर मृत्यु की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे थे, किन्तु अब वे 'एक्शन मोड' में आ गए हैं। जाम्बवान यहाँ एक नेता और प्रवक्ता की भूमिका निभा रहे हैं। यद्यपि अंगद दल के नेता हैं, परन्तु जाम्बवान अपनी आयु और अनुभव के कारण रणनीतिक संवाद का नेतृत्व करते हैं। उनका उठना संपाति के प्रति सम्मान और स्थिति की गंभीरता, दोनों का सूचक है।
