स हरीन् प्रति संयुक्तान् सीता श्रुति समाहितान् ।
पुनः आश्वासयन् प्रीत इदम् वचनम् अब्रवीत् ॥ ॥४-५९-५॥
Sa harīn prati saṃyuktān sītā śruti samāhitān । Punaḥ āśvālayan prīta idam vacanam abravīt ॥ ॥4-59-5॥
Translation
He (Sampati), pleased, reassuring the Vanaras who were united and attentive to hear about Sita, spoke these words again.

सीता के विषय में सुनने के लिए एकाग्रचित्त और सावधान उन वानरों को पुनः आश्वस्त करते हुए, प्रसन्न होकर संपाति ने यह वचन कहा।
English Commentary
Sampati settles comfortably into the role of narrator and guide. Observing the intense focus (Samāhitān) of the Vanaras, he feels a sense of satisfaction (Prīta). The attentiveness of an audience acts as an encouragement to the speaker. The term Āśvālayan (reassuring) suggests that Sampati understands the Vanaras' anxiety and eagerness. He speaks not just to inform, but to calm and direct them. This verse establishes a perfect rapport between the teacher (Sampati) and the students (Vanaras), essential for the transmission of critical knowledge.

संपाति अब एक कथावाचक और मार्गदर्शक की भूमिका में पूर्णतः स्थिर हो चुके हैं। वानरों की एकाग्रता ('समाहितान्') देखकर उन्हें प्रसन्नता ('प्रीत') होती है। एक वक्ता के लिए श्रोता की जिज्ञासा और ध्यान सबसे बड़ा प्रोत्साहन होता है। 'आश्वासयन्' (आश्वस्त करते हुए) शब्द दर्शाता है कि संपाति वानरों की व्याकुलता को समझते हैं और वे धीरे-धीरे, धैर्यपूर्वक पूरी बात बताने जा रहे हैं ताकि कोई भ्रम न रहे। यह संवाद की एक आदर्श स्थिति है जहाँ वक्ता और श्रोता दोनों पूर्ण सामंजस्य में हैं।
